is there an issue with version 2.0 Galactic Magnate?
a friend of mine tried to download and stuck on waiting for download exe.
she was very patient and waited for 20 minutes and then tried a couple more times even checking her settings and stuff
i had her find an earlier version and then when she created an account it updated her version.

I believe it depends on the system she has for protection and her internet connection. As we all know and Trace tried to address with them, some protection softwares view GM as a threat.
This however does not sound like that as she just got stuck. I would suggest pm'ing Kreso for suggestions but it does sometimes take a while for response but he has been pretty fast lately.
