Hi,

I can connect with my laptop, and username "sulk" at my home.

But when i tried to connect with same username "sulk" at work with a desktop, it isnt connecting, and this message appears;

' Error! Could not connect the server.
Your version might be too old.
Try downloading an update. '

But the version is 1.26. Then when ı clicked update. It could not update.

Please help me in this problem..[/u]

I would suggest checking that a firewall isn't blocking it. If my firewall blocks GM I get that message.

but can you say where from can i check firewall settings, because i am nat an admin to change firewall settings. Is there any other way to bypass this problem

I'm sorry I don't know anything about firewalls on work computers, only home computers.

The message you're getting is usually because the program isn't connecting to the internet, which is why I'm thinking a firewall is probably blocking it. Try looking at the tool bar (bottom right of the screen) for icons that could be a firewall. If not, sorry I don't know what else to suggest.

trace you are exactly right ,
at your workplace it will be a NAT Firewall that the company use , exactly for this purpose,
there is no way round it, because if there was then companies would not spend tens of thousands on installing such good Firewalls against any intruders, or from insiders trying to get out,

Sorry , only way to sort it, is speak to Tech Support at your work and see if they'll unblock the ports on the firewall
